Will Thomson State Farm is hiring a driven, sales-focused Acquisitions Specialist who thrives on generating new business and turning opportunities into closed deals. This role is built for producers who are competitive, goal-oriented, and motivated by performance-based earnings.

Licensing Requirements

This is a fully licensed role:

  •  Property & Casualty license required prior to Day 1 
  •  Life & Health license required within 45 days of hire 
  •  Full licensing support and guidance provided throughout 
Prior sales experience is required. Insurance or State Farm experience is a plus, but not required.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be responsible for driving new business and maintaining a consistent, high-performing sales pipeline.

  •  Prospect through outbound calls, referrals, internet leads, and community outreach 
  •  Build and manage a steady pipeline of new business opportunities 
  •  Conduct needs-based conversations to uncover risks and recommend solutions 
  •  Quote, present, and close auto, home, renters, and life insurance policies 
  •  Follow up consistently and aggressively to convert quotes into bound business 
  •  Track daily activity, pipeline movement, and production metrics 
  •  Collaborate with the team while maintaining a strong individual production focus

  •  Proven sales experience with a track record of hitting or exceeding goals 
  •  Strong closing skills and confidence handling objections 
  •  Competitive, results-driven mindset 
  •  High energy with disciplined follow-up and pipeline management 
  •  Strong communication and relationship-building skills 
  •  Ability to meet licensing requirements
